Q: Is Ihsan Casket a registered company in Singapore?
A: Yes! We are registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). Our UEN number is 53411473C.
Q: How to Register Death in Singapore
A: All deaths in Singapore must be reported within 24 hours. You can register the death at any Neighborhood Police Post or Police Division Headquarters. There is no fee for registering a death. Registration and collection of Death Certificate will be processed on the spot.
You will need to provide the following documents:
- A Certificate of Cause of Death (CCOD) issued by a doctor or authorized medical practitioner
- The deceased’s identification documents (NRIC) and/or passport) for cancellation
- Your identification documents (IC or passport). The person registering the death does not need to be related to the deceased.
Should death occur at home unexpectedly, you will need to engage a doctor or authorized medical practitioner to certify the death. You can also call the casket company as they have doctors which collaborate for the event.
